I say this every time: I know this is outside of my normal fitness/running blogging, but hey – its my blog, and I want to blog about my awesome clothes!
Here’s how it works: You set up a style profile and you receive a box with 5 items in it. You can choose the frequency with which you set up the box …once a month, every other month, etc. You pay $20 to receive a box. If you keep anything, that $20 goes toward your purchase. If you keep all 5 items, you get a discount! They send you anything from jewelry, to clothes to handbags. They’ve even added SHOES to the mix! If you don’t want to keep an item, they have an envelope to send them back.
What I love about this is that I get a stylist that looks at my style profile and picks out items just for ME. You can even link to a pinterest board so they can get inspiration and a better look into what you like.
*Sorry for the awful sideways pictures. I kept fighting with WordPress and it was not letting me rotate them!
Item Number 1 – Franco Sarto Edaline Ankle Strap Bootie ($149)
Sorry, no picture!
I had specifically asked my stylist for some cute fall booties, and she didn’t disappoint! These were exactly what I had in mind. However, the heel was a little high on them, and I really couldn’t see myself being comfortable wearing them.
Item Number 2 – Pixley Ashton Crochet Lace Kimono ($48)
I hadn’t even told my stylist I wanted a kimono and she read my mind! I had something a little different in mind, but this kimono was still very cool. I ended up keeping it, but haven’t worn it yet. I can’t seem to find an occasion to wear it (can’t wear to work).
Item Number 3 – Market & Spruce Colibri Plaid Henley Top ($48)
This shirt is me. My husband loved it on me, so it was a no brainer to keep. How can you go wrong with plaid in the fall??
Item Number 4 – Kut from the Kloth Simmon Bootcut Jean ($88)
These felt so SOFT. However, they were WAY too long and were a little snug.
Item Number 5 – 41 Hawthorn Sena Bar Back Blouse ($58)
The color of this top is amazing. However, there was a small pleat in the front. For a busty girl like me, it ended up being unflattering.
Sizing was pretty good this time, but just didn’t love all the pieces. My bank account thanks me for that!
Can’t wait to see what I get next time! I’ve asked for a “fall” fix!
