I know this is outside of my normal fitness/running blogging, but hey – its my blog, and I want to blog about my awesome clothes! I’m going to apologize in advance for my horrible ugly pictures. I planned to take pictures with them on…but the best laid plans….
Here’s how it works: You set up a style profile and you receive a box with 5 items in it. You can choose the frequency with which you set up the box …once a month, every other month, etc. You pay $20 to receive a box. If you keep anything, that $20 goes toward your purchase. If you keep all 5 items, you get a discount! They send you anything from jewelry, to clothes to handbags. If you don’t want to keep an item, they have an envelope to send them back.
What I love about this is that I get a stylist that looks at my style profile and picks out items just for ME. You can even link to a pinterest board so they can get inspiration and a better look into what you like.
I have Michal back! I love my stylist, and I’m so glad she’s back after May’s fix!
Item Number 1 – Urban Expressions Adelade Woven Fold-Over Clutch ($48)
I had asked for a silver purse to use for a wedding I was attending this month, and my stylist delivered! This purse was too cute not to keep. It is made by Urban Expressions, same as the crossbody bag she sent in my April #2 fix.
Item Number 2 – Market & Spruce Austin Polka Dot & Striped Mixed Material Shirt ($44)
I liked the look of this shirt, but it was not very flattering in the tummy.
Item Number 3 – Sweet Rain Rochford Button Down Blouse ($48)
This top was super cute and super feminine. I’m not a massive fan of see through shirts that require camis or tanks underneath, but this was perfect for work.
Item Number 4 – Level 99 Marlowe Denim Short ($98)
I had asked for a neutral, solid color pair of shorts. Level 99 pants have been good to me, but these were too tight.
Item Number 5 – Level 99 Patrick Cropped Chino Pant ($88)
My stylist sent me these Level 99 pants. I hoped that I would like them….the olive green would be a new color for me, but these were very unflattering and showed every curve….not in a good way!
I enjoyed the style of everything I received in this fix, but the sizing and fit was a little off. I’m not sure why things didn’t work this time. I’m loving all the purses she is sending me, but I’m going to have a purse problem if that’s all I keep! I’ve asked for more tops for work in my next fix – so lets see how it goes!
